taking him to the cinema. We spent the evening over the logs of my runs up and down, entering them up and working out averages.

Neither Pat nor I are noted for early rising! Consequently, we did little or nothing this morning.
In the aft we went to the skating rink at Cricklewood (Roller). At the beginning of the aft Pat of course could go better than I (he was a rink devotee when the craze was on a couple of years ago) but by the end of the aft I could go quite fairly. We got home about 6:45 pm and spent the evening playing solo.

Went to the rink again this aft with Rowdon this time. Pat and I found that it took us 1/4 hr to get back to yesterday's form but Rowdon, strange to say, who has not been on for a couple of years just sailed ahead with much gusto. By the end of the aft the order of skating ability was Rowdon and I about equal, and then Pat. He seems to get to a certain point and not to be able to get beyond it. In the first two hours we went together a good bit alternately (R&P, P&L, R&L, D&) During the last hour I spent quite a lot
