Thank you very much for your note re my o/c with the Nat. P.O. Tarhe???. I am certainly better off war loan Father. What I am trying to do is to keep a balance of L[british pound sign]10 standing at Coxs out here & to buy war Loans with monthly balances over??? that. However there aint been mo??? balance for ran??? last 2 months. So that??? has been us War Loan. Clothes have a bad habit of wearing out & when lless??? overalls go there's L3 up the spout.
L10 may seem small by you Father but it is quite enough because if I pay in an English cheque Coxs credit it at w*re???. They don't say anything about "when collected" as the Walkins??? does. Also if we go in service we get 3 months pay in advance so that covers any things we have to get. Thats where we got let down last February. We bought the seaft??? & didn't get the advance! Because if we care how we get a rewards??? pay in advance & little to spend it on on the boat.to keep my balance at home. I don't spend it then & it is just as much "at call".
