Spent a long time this morning on a board on the two bulged?? camels?? i was 1 1/4 hrs giving my Evidence! I think they have decided that it was faulty ammunition.
Did a "Drago Orderly Room"?? with Somerwell?? after that and then went up to the Barton?? Orderly Room with him & took over.
Thursday August 17th
Battn. O.R. at 9.0. Finished at 11/0. Then wrote mail til Tiffin time.??
The C.C.M.A. turned up this morning. Somerwell? didn't seem to have made any arrangements for him. Consequently there was a slight mess up. However we settled that.
He came up to often?? at the Mess & kept going with tales of the Frontier. He has been up here some time & has endless stories of it.
In the afternoon I went down to Khausper to find the match I had gone down for scratched!
Wandered about for some time trying to fix up another match but unsuccessfully.
