What is the opinion at home of The Push? What I like about it is that the newspapers are very quiet. There is no raving about a great victory or anything, simplly a plain record of progress. We seem to be keeping the pressure on, and the Russians are still maing??? thei weight!

THe thing that beats me is how the "British Army" does it if the men sent out as drafts to the Fighting Line are anything like the draft we've got! They are a mixed crew. And what armneys??? our men follows so much is that the draft call them "Drawing Room Soldiers" + say that they (the draft) didn't join to come to India. They wanted to go the the Front - so did we. An the whole the draft seem to have got badly swollen heads + our fellows not unnationally??? do not appreciate it.

I am glad to see the Troop Train business is being taken up in Parliament. According to the people who cannup??? the train was overcrowded + this was no ice provided officially. The Coffee Shop they talk of was unofficial and was arranged by one or two of the officers sent down to melt??? the draft from units in India! Sewear??? should get it in the neck. Personally I am glad I am not the R.T.O Bailbay!???
