Saturday July. 8th.
Col. Luand duly arrived this aw. The C.O. was in the Orderly Room waiting for him but he gave him the slip by riding straight down to Khauspur! Everyone did alright apparently except that Suvelt??? get a bit tied up.
Sunday July 9th.
We were to take to a very fine storm??? bed??? auight???. The tents survived alright which is more than the roop??? of some of the bungalows did! The flaps of th tents got blown in with the mevel??? that the most of us got more or less of our goods and chattels soaked. I must aim???? I was far too lazy to get up to do anything.
Apparently several trees came down "up top" at Ghara Dhaka
Pull??? has got to go into hospital for 3 months or at any rate won't be fit for duty for that time. He has got auy??? old reline??? returned. He is not bery happy about it.
There is also a rumour that 2 M.G. Sges are disallowed +that in future we are only to have one. If Pull??? goes into hospital I shall keep Lamer if I can, until he is fit for duty again + then probably Lamer will have got the commission he has applied for.
