We found this morning that the houseboat had arrived. It got in about 2.am this morning apparently. Our bearers had taken everything in on board, bar the bedding +e??? we had in the Bungalow with it. It is quite a comfortable looking affair on this plane.???

There is as much room in the roures??? as there is in many Catius??? in board ship + more than in there in which we Caner??? net. It looks as if we shall have quite a comfortable time - except for the heat.
We had breakfast in the Dark Bungalow + Cast off about nine o/c. The method of propulsion is 3 coolies pulling and one in the bais??? who keeps the boat out from shore by judicious pushing with a punt pole. We moved along sedalily with stoppages for meals till about 8 pm when we reached Sopor. Beyond that the Water Lake has to be crossed + the boatwaen??? won't cross it
