2. CHURCH PARADE. The Battalion will parade for Divine Service tomorrow as under:_ Stratten??

(1). church of England at 8-45 a.m., under Capt. F.C.G./

(2) Wesleyans and other Non-Conformists at 9-45 a.m.

(3) Roman Catholics, et ?? MX?? 7-30 a.m.

3. TENTS All 180 lb. and 60 lb. Tents, except Rifle Tents, will be struck, packed and returned to Q.M's Stores on Monday by 3 p.m.

4. TRAINING. The following Territorial Brigade Order by LT-Col. C.C. Luard is republished for information:-

" The Territorial Brigade Course of Training in "Mountain Warfare terminates to-day on the return of the "Brigade from Camp.

" While the General Officer Commanding is much pleased "at the keenness displayed and the progress made, he wishes

"to remind all ranks that the period allotted for their

"training has only permitted them to fringe on the subject

"to be approached and principles to be pointed out, which

"form landmarks to the goal, vis. fitness for War. The

"effect of neglect of these principles has been pointed

"out in lectures and in camp, sometimes more than once.

"There is no short cut to efficiency. The Directing Staff

"have indicated the landmarks, it remains with Units

"themselves to improve on the considerable progress already

"made by habitualing?? themselves in applying principles to

"circumstances, cultivating an eye for country and acquiring

"mobility on the hillside."
