(The camp is about on the Race Course) I let "Swooker" have his head. I usually do just as we come in until I walk him on the final 200 yds or so. Williamson's beast did not like my pony being in front so he started to pull up. Swooker wasn't having any & I suddenly felt a huge bound forward 7 we shifted. I got round the cones but Willie didn't. We both pulled up without sustaining any damage or coming off & then the ponies had to walk the last bit.

I did my best to join the ??? tonight. I was leaning out of my ??? for a towel & put my arms slap on top of a hurricane lamp. It burnt it rather & gave me "???" all through mess. Still it won't be enought to put me on the ??? list.
