We had to get our guns ready for the CCMA 9Civil Chief Master Armo???) who inspected them at 10/0. They all had to be laid out and the spare parts RC. The guns had to be cleaned too. He proved to be a most awfully decent chap. The can??? all the worn out stuff in the most off hand way and seemed quite willing to can??? anything we wanted him to. On his report too we shall get all the definicies made up. Good work.
I also got two mules changed by the ??? Mule Corps. They have sent two lovely big ones almost 14 hands. They do not look as well as our own but that we will cure very soon. The C.O. of the ??? said the two we sent were in as good condition as any that he had seen! The adjt wanted me to change the Room. Nor fair! This is the best we have even though he is playful at times. ??? a beggar to saddle but once his saddled he is fairly alright.

Friday, Feb 11. The staffords were Field Training out at BOKRA today so I went out in the opposite direction. I had quite an interesting morning
