trees. Most of them have grass between the Road & the sidewalk & the main road has a miniature Rotten Row along its whole length. Sauervells??? pony shies at anything from a Motor Bike downwards, the infected "Snooker" a bit. Consequently the ride was rather less unexciting than usual!
Spent the evening writing. The mail came in last night & already have a huge pile of letters patiently waiting to be answered.

Went to the 8/30 at Ch. Ch. It is the most English church I have been in in India & there was the largest congregation I have seen at an early service. Chiefly of course because it is a large station.
About 10/30 I wondered round to the Sraftond??? M.G.O. to see his new Saddlery. We have been issued with similar stuff & the puzzle is how to fit it. At any rate I saw how they fit theirs.
Spent the afternoon working out a programme for the adjt.
Had tea with Edsell, who showed me an idea he has got for the MG. It seems quite good tone???. The idea is to cut a slot in a crate??? & to fix a stand on to the screwed head to engage it. This will prevent the crate??? coming out. It should work.
