Sunday nov. 14. 1915

I did not commence Breakfast till 9.30.

After Breakfast Lamont and I st out to find Watersmeet. We got off the track rather badly and did not find it but instead, got within a mile of Dhub Gorh which is the highest pt. in the C.P.

Wrote up note in the aft and went to church in the eve. The little church looks almost nicer at night than it does by day.

Had a slight touch of Fever in me today. Nothing much.

Monday Nov. 15. 1915.

Still a bit "fevery". Did more R.P. today. Made 17 in Pr. 22. 300 Bayonets fixed Cover Kneeling and for 12 off in the Pre'd. Our instr. had a go at the Rapid because one man protested "he could not fire with his rifle". He got off 15 in 53 secs. and made 39/45- with a strange rifle. Then we had a turn in the huts. (Galley) It is rather diff. from Nar-gall. I wish we had them.

Slacked in aft. and wrote notes in eve.
