I was sorry but not surprised, it would be difficult to convict on the evidence. Finished more letters in aft then tennis. Played with Dykes, Owens, & Welpeel. Quite good games.

Gave four of my Gunners a start on Saturday by threatening to send them back to their companies if they did not buckup. The effect was very apparent this moring.
Watched Polo in eve. It will be a little time before I venture to play!

Very little doing in S.S.O today. Began to look for work by turning out the drawers of my table. Found all sorts of muck and in consquence did not leave at 12:0
Tennis in aft with Vesian, Tronkar and Major. Not bad sets

Night sky bright. Went for a nite march of about 2 1/2 miles. One mule tried to stand on his head as we started but otherwise no adventures!
