Sun. Aug. 22.

Orderly day today, so took "A" Coy on church parade???. The total turn out was 52 of which we provided 15 all ranks - out of 216!

Finished off odd jobs today.

As it started raining at 5.0 - hard; it was quite exciting going round Dennis???. There was about an inch of water. All the water with 2-3 ft in the gullys.

9.0 parade was slack as usual. Went up to the Orderly Room at 10.0. Sewevell??? is going on leave on Sunday and I have to do st??? Air??? so he suggested that might like to go up to the Orderly Room this week to see what

Very soon after the start Michelmors??? got hurt. I went into goal leaving Manley as center stay??? & Denny as outside right - neither of whom were exactly successful in their new positions. We had had a chance of winning before that, but his meant???

Very interesting task. Hopefully I wasn't too far off in translating his handwriting. Looking forward to transcribing further entries.
