Despite late hours last night we (Hickling, Lamont & I) turned out at 6.30. for a Rugger Kick about. Being Waterloo Day the men have the day off. Despite the Holiday I had quite a busy morning chiefly over the kits. At 10/30 it began to rain - hard & the Pay Parade had to be postponed till it stopped at 11.45. The actual paying I got done in 12 mins. but the questions & usual clearing??? up afterwards kept me there till 12.45. Played Tennis with ??? & Williamson (on the Hard??? Courts) in the aft.
