Fri. June 18.] we could go to the Waterloo Day concert given by "The Terriers". (The program I give in p. 242-3 of the last vol.). It was a rattling Lord??? Concert of course. Vincent sang jolly well & but for his training beats Cresy??? The ??? were v.g. There was one on the Trench Digging & one on Prickly Heat, likewise one on polishing boots & boot strap buckles - a hit at Cottery???. "Sporty"??? was good though dramatic, but suited Nickolds???. "I dunno ??? is jolly pretty & is I fancy from Peter Pan. "Hadiquinade"??? is an old favourite The wail of the Wallaurello???" was done in Costume. Scalas??? looked priceless??? squatting on his haunches dressed in a sheet & a couple of feathers. [Fri. June 18. The rest we have heard before. "The COMP'NYUM"??? is, I should say, a bit at Lamont - and a fair one. The show finished about 11/45.

Still pretty muggy & sweaty. "Business as usual". Knocked about at Hockey in the eve. Mail 9.0 am.

Did not go to Church Parade in a.m. Slacked & wrote most of the day. Marched ??? in eve.
