C.O. got back from Jalapahar tonight. He has been on Inspection duty! Nice to be a C.O. Thur May 27 99 deg 84 mid As I sacked the Babu in the S.S. office yesterday I had quite a busy hour this morning instructing Miller NH in the way he should go. That took from 8.15 - 9.30.
At 9.30 I went & interviewed Frankian??? re Platoons under the new organisation (which starts tomorrow) and the distribution of the men thereof.
Back at the S.S. office at 10.0 From 10.30 - 11.30 I was discussing things with the C.O. Then after a half hour of letter writing back to lunch.
After lunch I wrote mail letters (4) vigorously till tea time.
Played a four at Tennis in eve. Hickling & I v Vesian & Frankan?? We won 6-2, 6-3 6-0. Hard work though.
