Uneventful.
We did some vaulting in & out of the saddle at the School tonight. "At the halt" only. The old stagers don't exactly get on with it.
Sat. May 22.
Most exciting episode to-day was telling the Printer of Station Orders my opinion of his printing. He didn't seem pleased somehow.

Whit Monday. No parade after the first. Fair amount of work in the S.S. office though.
Dined at Hewlett's. Had a fair bit of a rush to get there owing to a C.S.M.S meeting at 7.30. I charted our O.T. criticism there was quite a good discussion - rather off the point, but that's a detail.
Played for the Company against "C" tonight. We played rottenly and lost 3-0. We almost deserved to.
