Pay in the aft then tennis followed by Badminton. Sat. Feb. 20 Beach carried on an investigation of the Scower?? Case this morning. By the way all company commanders are in it now. Beach as Scower?? is in "A". Cotton because the N.Co. 1/c Bck Room is in "C". Jackson because that N.C.O. was out at the time and the command devolved on a "B" man -- L/Cpt Crump. Hewlett, as Capt of the week.
Beach had Crump up first. He admitted having neglected Scower's??? bed??? but said he did it in return for Scower's??? having hagged his earlier in the day. Scower recalled "Did you nag this N.C.O.'s bed?" "Well sir I did just...etc.' "Well you know this is a very serious thing, an N.C.O. is not on the same plane as you etc., etc...
4 days C.B.! Poor Scower looked as if he was going to have a fit. Still it jolly well served him right.
We did a whole attack right through & then repeated the final stages with special attention to reorganisation of groups, etc.
Played with Kesian??? in the aft agst Lamott & Fisher.
