-- lazed & had a short ride in a.m. Aft went over to Stephens again. He started dopping??? one tooth but decided he would have to kill the nerve, so he said nerve is now being killed. He thinks it should be dead by Thursday when I go again! Called at the Frys???. Saw Rowdan & had perforce to stop to tea. Rowdan is coming over tomorrow.
Went to cinema with Paletine??? eve. Programming??? v.g.

Excitement in the land to-day. The soldiers arrived! They came first about 10.0 & have kept on coming ever since. They are all Regulars & we hear the whole of the ivth??? Div??? is coming. Most arrived in G.E. trains i.e from Colchester I suppose. The unloading process at

Kenton is rather neat. It is thusly; ???DIAGRAM??? The trains run up to A, then backed across the points to B. There an engine came on the other end & detached the cars & horses taking the trucks with carts just to C & the horses to D. Meantime the men got out of the carriages at B. To facilitate this all the trains were made up in the same way vi2:- ???DIAGRAM???
Rowdan came over in the morning so we went & watched the detraining.
In aft. I amused myself altering the hinges of our front gate & repairing it generally.
