The Misses Dumer came over by the 10.36 at Kentone???. We left home about 11.30 & went by bus to Stamore Common???. Had an al fresco lunch & then wandered on and on until we finally reached a road leaading to the "Alpine". Thence we went in by but to Buck's at Watford where we had tea. Then walked again to the June Sta. & but all the the way home, on a MET that misfired badly on all hills! We went on to West St. & walked back across the fields. At 8.57 they departed & after a short walk round we came in to bed.
Thur. Aug. 20 Rowden arrived in a.m. Road a ride round. Discovered soldiers at Kingsbury Gn. Camps all over the place at Master & Weubley??? Pk. Found some yesterday in Harrow Wrald???, so we seem

pretty well surrounded! Miss Catcheside came over to see us, arround about 11.30, & left by the 8.23.
In aft went over to Stanley Stevens again. He stopped another tooth. The ones whose nerve is in process of "killation" is to be done next Monday.
Called to see A. Rhoda, (but didn't get any tea!) Didn't stop long as she had to go out at 5.0 to a First Aid Class!!
Walked to Sta. in eve with Miss C. & home by a round about ???

Spent a.m. cleaning the bike & aft. printing photos. Caught the 5.51 up & went to Paters office whence to Queen's Hall Programme -
