at Mytchett Lake. We had some difficulty in picking them up as they were sending to the wrong hill, but eventually we picked them up & got them to move. Then all went well. Our station was a transmitter. I was I/C the post sending to the lake & had to read & send while Wearne??? wrote. We got in about 11.0 - finally

Visual scheme 9.0 - 5.0 There was a huge HQ on Tunnel Hill sending 5 ways.
I with Power (i/c) & Stephens were
sending to a Stn. at Pirbright Lodge which moved at 12.30 to Worlesden. All went well. There was a little difficulty in finding us on their part & they only sent us about 7 ms. to our 3. We got back about 5.45 just in time for a shower before tea.
The band was playing in the Offrs. lines from 8.30. Stevens & I went over & listened to it till 9.30 when we had to leave for a Lamp Parade.
This band is quite a treat. They are quite good though not quite equal to the Guards
