Sun Feb 1

More piano after hall. by 8.0 o'clock - the piano had acted so like the Hamlin pipe - I had in my rooms Giles, Saye, and Capes to say nothing of course of Dixon. At 8.0 we all all wandered off to the Mission at St. Mary's. We found it pretty full. The time from 8.10 ot 8.30 was occupied - as is usual at Missions - in singing hymms.

The bishop was rather disappointing. It is true he had a very difficult subject - Belief in God - but I did not think he tackled it as he might have. It was not exactly a fighting sermon such as one would have expected. The delivery was obviously earnest yet rather halting.

Mon Feb 2.

The spare three has now become a spare two and therefore I did not go down this aft as I should have been odd man out.

Mission again in evening. Subject "Belief in Jesus Xt" Bish. again disappointing.

Tues Feb 3

No lekkers in morning. Spent the day copying photos and developing and printing them. Got a passable copy of Doris at second shot, and a decent one of a photo of Robinson barring the fact that his head only just comes in.

Cut the Mission in eve being rather fed with last night.
