Sunday Dec 14

Hill at 11.0. Mater Pater & I went out for a walk in the afternoon - round the hill via Sudbury Ct. Rd.

Kenton in even. Had a long chat with Mr & Mrs Cottingham after the service. Have booked Dec 10th 1914 for a Lantern Lecture on 'Oxford' for Kenton.

Monday Dec. 15.

Went up to school to day to the O.T.C. prizegiving. Took the Sir Thomas White Section Competition Shield. Unfortunately the actual time of possession thereof is about 1 min. only as it is kept at school. However I got a pot with it - which I keep.

Just saw Peter for a very short time

A.J. Smith has got a £60 @ St Johns Camb. & CHK Smith a £40 @ Caius. We have done pretty well in schols again this year. Hills has got a £30 @ Lincoln.

Came home L.N.W.R. with the Joneses. Went to the Band of Hope in the evening. Tue Dec 16.

Spent the morning delivering parcels of Church Defence Literature to neighboring clerics for Mrs Cruickshank

Caught the 2.35 to Baker St. It ran on the new line from the Junc N. of Wembley Pk to the point where the new line changes to the downside. Ran the new line again from Kilburn to Finchley Rd.

Coltingham--Cottingham? I should remember from the last hit I did since it was very distinct :( Also now know from the last hit that 'Renton' is 'Kenton'. First page: "Have booked Dec____...." looks like Have booked Dec 10 thru J 14.(compare 'the' directly above it) CH___ N or R (R looks more plausible) Again, the L before an amount is the symbol for pounds sterling.
