Did some Qiinchi with Robinson this morning. Went to the river in the afternoon. Had one long tubbing with Wright (Howes Coaching) and then came up. Kept an eve chapel.
Ugger after dinner. Wrote home & read several weeklies. Went to bed pretty early as I want to get up for H.C. tomorrow at 7.45.
Sun. Nov.30.
ADVENT SUNDAY - ST ANDREW'S DAY
H.C.7.H5 L.P took it. Burney who was serving arrived late as usual. Mat.9.15 We had the Ante Communion service (contrary to custom on the 4th Sun). I suppose that as we shall not be up next Sun. which is the usual "Collection Sunday" (1st in month) James had it to day instead.

Went for a bike road after chapel via Woodstock thence to Banbury Rd, Bletchingdon and back direct
Ugger in aft. wrote 10 letters! (Mr Ball, Ted, Flo, Joneses (2) Mr Macassey Ferguson Smith CHK. Pat)
Went to the cathedral at 5. with Faden. They sang part of Mendlesohn's Hymn of Praise for the anthem. There was the usual recital after the service. They played:

All were fine especially the last two.
