Thurs Nov 29

us left. As however there was no cox Harris who usually rows had to cox and so we all had a job.

Went to the second Wirelss Lecture (O.T.C) to-night. Am beginning to see "how it works"

Leighton-Pullan had a meeting in his rooms to-night on the Mission in Feb. He asked for prayer for it. Upstone suggested that the intercessory prayers should be used at the H.C. on Sundays and at Compline. The later R.P. promised. The former he said he would endeavour to secure.

It was decided to hold a meeting in Coll about the first week of next term in th S.C.R. preliminary to the mission and that Corey should be asked to address it.

Fri Nov 28.

Got my ticket this morning for F.E. Smith next week (at the Ugger). The motion is to be "That this house has complete confidence in His Majesty's Government."

It will I hope and think be lost.If so it will be a peculiar commentary on the ??? Geo. debate!

Went out for a ride with Herbert to Witney and back instead of rowing this aft. The country is nothing very great though. Some of the autumn tints very really fine, especially in places where the sun was on them through the gaps in the clouds. There is one weird object on the road. A Toll Gate for Swinburne bridge (cost 1/2d). These are quite curiosities now.

Went round to Robinson's after dinner. Had a thump on Stainsby's piano at the Yeoman of the Guard. Enjoyed it muchly.
