Wednesday Sept 27th
Took the "C" Coy Course myself to-day on Tactical Handling. The Instructors always rather enjoy this stage of the proceedings as it get out of the Company fellow's heads the idea they seem to have that the Machine Gunners do no work, which always rat-her riles the section.
Read and finished "Eldorado" in the evening.
Thursday Sept 28th
Orderley Officer to-day. Went up to the Guard about 9.0 Saw Larner. Visited the Mules Lines and spent the rest of the morning writing official "cnits" and Mail letters.
Played Footer 4-5 against what was supposed to be an I.O.G.T. Team.
