On and after Sept 28th address my letters to HUSAIN ABDUL
PUNJAB instead of Khauspor.
From that you will note the death of many rumors. It is now fixed that we go to thusaw??? Abdul when we go down from here. You may remember that as our Second halting place on the trek to Nowshrs??? from Pindi - where the Nepalese troops were.
I think it is migh??? on us that the West Kents go into barracks at Pindi. As we were up here before they were. I shall have been 15 months with??? saw??? as by the lirre??? we wove to the hills again next year. There is this consolation they can't keep us there through next hot weather. We shall have to go to the hills. (I have taken on two bets of 10 rupees to I that we shan't be here before next March).
There seems to be a chance of my getting a transfer to the Machine Gun Corps somewhere about next January or Feb. They are taking the Maxim Sections with their guns and everything
