Spent the day looking over Equipment & Spare Parts & making out indents??? for deficiencies. I shall be glad to get straight!
Friday January 28
Did a little training in the morning then dismissed the Service Sections @ 11.0. & drew our new Saddlery. The Reserve Section then comed on on the guns
Service Section paraded again at 1/30 & we went along to watch the Surreys do Practice 13. It was not as great a success as it might have been.
From 3.0 to 4/30 I was with the O.M.S going through indents??? for stuff we need to complete. Slacked in eve. after a little "Shopping"
Saturday January 29
Service Section spent the morning putting Saddlery together & getting the Store Tent into something like order. The Reserve were on the guns. A satisfactory morning on the whole.
Rode with Sauewell??? in the afternoon. Pindi is a jolly nice spot, very well laid out. Practically all bungalows of course stand in their own grounds. There are no longer lines of shops but just batches of 3 ???. The roads are wide & all planked with
