Awakened to-day by Toovell turning up about 7.30 re incinerators.
After seeing Paul about many things & finishing up in the S.S. Office I went down to see him (about 12.0) By the time I had cleared up matters with him it was lunch time & after lunch I had to go to the S.S. Office again about the German prisoners who are going to Ahmednagar on Sat. There are 14 of them. Lamont with an NCO & 6 men have to go as escort -- by the 10.41. I don't envy him the job at all.
Got back to the Bungalow about 3.45 & sallied forth again about 4.50 to play Hockey for the Specialists v. NCO's. It wsa a good game & ended in a draw: no score.

Had the gun out on the 30 yds range today (1,0083) No real excitement except that the Corter came out 4 times in 20 rounds!
Pull took the sec in jams 9-10.
I had a busy time in the S.S. Office. We have had an astonishing amount of work this week.
Knocked about a Polo Ball tonight. Bought two sticks (for 4-/-) to do it with. Got on fairly well.

30 yds Range again this morning -- fired the gun myself with quite fine results. The M.G. has this advantage over a rifle that one can use one's left eye without any disadvantage at all.
