Sat. Augt 4
Proceeded to Dress and was easily ready by 7.25 when we arrived at Jubbulpors [??]. Then we had a rush. The train was 10 min late & it only gave us half an hour to get Breakfast and change. The blighters ran the [???] back through but as we were only 20 they wouldn't do it for us. So we had to trundle all the stuff up the Platform. By 7.55 when the train was due off we were all ready & fed which was more than the [???] people were. I had not had time for Brekker but I manage to get some brought to the Carriage on a tray and thus did alright.
We meandered along slowly till we reached Itasi [??] at 2.10. Then we had to change again & also got Dinner.
Sat. Aug 14
The [??] were booked to go on at 2.54 but as there was no 1st or 2nd accomodation on it [???] decided to wait for the 5.30 & go by that. So we had to kick our heels for 3 hours. But the time we had finished Lunch & made sundry arrangements it was well past 3.30 & then we settled down in the waiting room to write letters etc.
The train was an hour & 20 mins late when it left [???]. I had a small scrap with the Station Master because we were occupying 3 carriages & were only entitled to 2. However we stuck to our 3 carriages.
There is a party of 4th & 5th Queens on board & 1 officer. One
