My command is now No. 1 Platoon - Since 12.1 a.m. to-day. The old A & B coys??? are now "A" Coy & the old C &??? Co??? are "B" Coy

Frankan??? & I have reorganized as far as we can do without Beach.

There was the usual C.O.'s Imaprclian??? this morning

Got hold of a new beast at the Riding School tonight No 117. Rather a mangy looking animal - but a goer. When we por??? "Canter" I moved some??? and banked in style.

Sun. May 30. 98[degrees] 85[degrees] nil

The first battalion parade under the double coy business was church parade this morning

Luggins??? who was O.C. "A" distinguished himself by fixing his lank??? form??? in front of "B" Coy who were leading. He was politely reminded by the Sgt. Maj that he belongs to "A" Coy not "B"! Mail in this morning. Then S.S. office. Hickling??? was presented by Somervell??? with a couple of huge drawings of Trenches which the Orderly??? Roma??? want copied. I have undertaken to help her by doing the writing. He spent quite a time over it in the morning I had a go at my part of the contract??? in the aft.

Played Tennis 5.30 am??? Four??? first with Williamson v??? Vesian & Higgins then Singles with Vesian.

We were finally turned??? off the court by an objectionable dust storm. Some storm it was too. It lasted nearly an hour.

"Coy" (as in "A Coy") probably means "Company".
