Tue Mat 18. Miles better today. Disappointed the Doctor when he came to see me at 8.0 by having a temperature of 98.6.
We moved the Station??? Staff office to Victoria Bcks today. Obe SFT with a "B" Coy ??? turned up at 6.0 & t took two journeys. Spent the rest of the morning in the new office - which is next to the Orderly Room - getting straight.
The Bawtery??? ran a concert tonight several of our men helped & it was quite a good show. Our band was there as well. The Band Sgt - Hampson has suddenly gone in to hospital tonight. Consequently Gardner (Sgt Drummer) was left to conduct & he did it jolly well - rather better than Hampson in fact!

We trotted without stirrups in the Riding School tonight - as we did too last night. But to-day after "changing horses me up" I got lost somehow & after some moments hesitation, occupied in going from side to side, I left the horse. No damage done.
There was another concert tonight, at the Crown Club this time, given entirely by the Party. It really was top dollar??? & quite worth the RS.2. they rushed us for it.
