92 Tue Feb 3] Less & toy & draw the A.G. ???accross them while we ported them and Kay went across the open. unfortunately owing to the efficiency of their scouts who discovered that the scheme on their left flank was bluff they found out our position & came straight for us. They got into the ???Mullah?? in rather a neat way. They used the monsoon tips. The are really open culverts about 7 ft deep along the side of the road which runs slick over the Mullah. & these we didn't see at all until they emerged over the wall of the Ridny School. we had as a matter of fact seen their scouts but couldn't pot them because it would have given the show away. The afternoon parade was another N.C.O's tour. The scheme 93 [Tue Feb. 3 tomorrow is outposts & the idea is a Brigade has halted for a rest on the other side of the Sun & a half ???Bn??? is fighting outdoors. Our company has a given section of the Nullah So the questions were Picquert & Sentry groups, when? C.E.M.S meeting in the eve Shave was supposed to have been a Committee at 5.45 but that was postponed till 7 am. About 6.10 Mc Ror turned up we had an audience of about 120 & he delivered a rattling good lecture on "The War" based chiefly on ???Tclaive::: Bulloc's Articles in Land & Water. He was most interesting and I think every one thoroughly enjoyed it. The applause was great.
