others??? were??? better??? becomes the Entrance Hall. I went back to the Range at 10.30 & left again just after 12.
Met the Padre at the church just after 12.30 & discussed C.E.M.S. until lunch time at 1.0. Had lunch with them and then after a little after-Lunch talk and after that we discussed C.E.M.S once more.
Did nothing except Registers between Tea & Mess.

Early time??? on the Range & marked??? from 1-3.0. On my way back from the Range I saw Beach's horse pounding along with an empty saddle & stirrups flying. I followed it & saw it trek??? safely back to its stable. Next I went back to the Race Course

expecting to find him lying unconscious in a pool of blood somewhere, but instead, found him contentedly potting??? away with a revolver with the Major. He had left the horse unattended & the thing had just gone off on its own.
To put the hat on it absolutely, after the Major & I had been chipping him about having to walk home, behold the syce??? teemed??? up with animal!

Range 8.30. We had a photo of the officers taken at Mess after lunch. The photographer insisted on our putting our helmets somewhere on the backs of our heads. So what the result will be goodness
