Tue Nov.24??]

Went ashore for a short time in the aft. just to get a few things. Did not have time to go to Aden??? proper as we had orders keep within hearing goin'??? bus ready to carrie??? back. I took a photo of one of the camel carts.

About 5:0 orders came through for us to get outside at sunset. So we tooted our sirens???. Two lots of Breakneck??? officers came aboard & were vigorously checked. Then just a we started to move, a rowing??? boat came round our stern with marks tilor??? twine??? in it. Although we had only just started the Rowers??? stood no chance, so we stopped to take them on & then pushed on again. We anchored outside with the rest of the convoy. We discovered that the CO & Tirvey??? weren't aboard! So a message was sent to land to tell them we were just go outside. The "Units"??? picked them up - with Higgens??? Vasian??? & Little & brought them to us. When they came down into the saloon, as we were at dinner they were greeted with huge cheers.

We have anchored quite close to the Dougola??? which has our other half Bus??? on board.

Wed. Nov. 25.

Found some new Zealand Transports in harbors with us this morning - about 121??? of them.

During our morning parade some of our officers came aboard from the Dongola.??? At 11:20 A party left for the Dingola??? from us. We had every boat (Nors)??? which is the smallest of the lot. Beach & Cotton we coxing Hickling??? stroked???, Franklan???
