One we saw we liked very much except for it's hillipution??? Drawing Room! The Organ behaved itself alright & so did the Organist I think. Nothing went wrong beyond sundry Pedal Blobs! The Vicar's Sermon was his usual 10 min. I wish he'd Mr Joyce that trick! We cought the 8.6 from Ruislip Manor??? home. Did not go out again after our return. 299 Mon. July 27. Had a rotten cold to.day so stopped in bed till 11.30. As a matter of fact it was just about at its height yesterday. Did not go to tennis but instead Dunward??? took me over to Brondesbury??? to meet some people called Craig who will be at Ballater??? when we are there. Mrs Craig is a fine big woman, tall as well. I only saw two of their girls, one about 12, the other (say) 19. the latter was quite nice but not exciting. Had a scare??? along the High Road Kilburn & got home about 7.0. Had a short walk in Eve: nothing else.
