Fri. May. 22.
Robinson's mater came up to-day. She came out in the punt with us in the aft. We did same as yesterday Magdalen Is. then back for the 3rd div. Then up the Cher. for tea & back for the 1st divn. Our first Rowed over again. Balliol nearly caught them but they spurted & got away nearly catching up House. The third caught Hertford before the Ferry!! Got right of the squash in great style & shot along to Folly Bdge by 6.30 so had time for a bath before Hall. Went to Ugger & wrote some letters after Hall & then developed photos in eve.
Sat May 23
Printed some photos in morn. Punted in aft. without incident. Dined with Robinson. Both our first and second rowed over. Balliol pressed again but were hopelessly left at the Greener. Our 2nd were pressing BNC ii but could not catch them before they caught Balliol ii. That will spoil our 6 bumps.
Sun. May 24
Punted for a couple of hours in a.m and again in aft. I distinguished myself by going in. It happened thus. I was standing in the front after fending off a man who was getting badly in his own & our way by turning badly. Just as we went under the Rollers Bridge Rob. shoved. I was not standing quite straight in the boat. So I sat down over
