In the aft. I went to Canon Drivers funeral at the Cathedral. I am afraid my thoughts were more with Grannie than with him. They played the Dead March in Saul with drums. The effect was quite fine.
I worked in the evening as well as I was able. Mods??? are drawing unpleasantly near now.
I have written to the Mater & Pater saying that I leave it to them to decide whether or no I shall go down to the funeral.

I got here last night at 9.0c. The train was 25 min late, but we had two dead stops on the way through repairs to the line. Lucy met me at the station.
Dear Gran passed peacefully away Saturday night before 11.00. The funeral is to be on Thursday leaving the house at 1/4 to 3 oc.
Grandpa seems bearing up pretty well at present but of course there has been a lot for him to think about and keep his mind occupied. It is later on he will miss dear Gran. when he is quiet & nothing to do.
Auntie Alice is coming down tomorrow. She doesn't say anything about Uncle Harry or Nellie coming so I dont
