It is curious that ???? don't get on with the Yorks either. One of my sergeants said to me this morning "I wish this course had been with any regiment except the Yorks Sir!" The Yorks are all a bit above themselves though heaven knows why!

It almost makes me jealous when you talk about going to the theatre Mother. That will be one of the first things I shall want to do when I get home. Probably there won't be any theatres then though!
I don't think it makes any difference to my chances of active service whether or no I am a "crack shot" Mother They don't worry much about an officers ??? with a rifle. ??? ??? is to tell the other people what to shoot at. They have decided now that they won't send any convalescents to the Gh?? Dhoka or Khauspur. So all our preparations putting up tents and so on are in vain.
I can imagine your excitement at the fall of a Zep. I must admit we were all very pleased about it though our papers didn't make a fuss. The paper we get is the Civil Military Gazette: ???? "is my idea of what a paper should be. Quiet yet it has all the news.
