Poor Ted he must get rather "fed-up" with cooking all day. Still someone has to cook. I presume that as he cooks for the staff?? he must be some met??? t it!
Did I tell you the delightful programme they have arranged for us this cold weather?
We go down from here about October 20th to fels ain abdul???? & amuse ourselves doing Company Battalion Training til Nov. 20th when we start Brigade manoevres??? These last 3 weeks & then finish up with a week's Divisioni?? manoevoures?? That takes us to Dec 20th we then get over Christmas and then we get into Ramess?? again for kitchen tests.
As we shant be in Brigade so much I hope they will Brigade the Machine Guns. It will be much better working brigaded.
I think I told you took my machine guns have got to go to the Arsenal for repair adjustment, didn't I? They need it rather badly.
The latest rumour will interest you I know! The 2/9th?? are said to be coming out to relieve us and we are going home early next year presumably to go to France & pick up the pieces of Laia??? Wilhelm's army. (I don't think!) Still there it is - there's the rumour.
