We played ??? Section at ??? in the afternoon. I was playing goal again and had a fairly busy time. ??? let me through which was an "impossible shot". I had 3 hard saves. One went over the bar with the effort but they didn't score from the corner.

??? went to ??? with the CO in his inspections. Got back about 12/45 & did not get away from the ??? till ???
Wrote letters in afternoon.
Thursday august 24th
Thought i was going to have a very easy morning but it was 11/0 before I finished in the O/R???

The only thing of interest to day is taht the draft have got to Pindi and get to S/B on Saturday morning. So they will be here on Sat. aft.
The two officers who were to have come to us have now been switched??? off to the Rifle Brigade. From what we hear it is no loss to us.
