I don't think we desrved to lose. Our goal was a pucca one +they they got a penalty against Hammet??? + scored. That made us 1-1. We got a penalty but didn't score, + then they got through again. We pressed heairly??? most of the time but eventually lost 2-1.
Tuesday July 18th
Had to wash out the Range today noing?? to Rain!
Wednesday July 19.
Succeeded in Firing this morning though we got wet through on the way back.
We were on the 600 + I was very rum at finishing before we left despite the rain. So I allowed the men to fire within waiting for the check from the Butts. The result was that the shirts went in too fast for the people in the Butt to check + the targets were severely damaged by the rain.
