Saturday July 15th
On the Range in the afternoon. Started Instructional to-day. Didn't do so badly. I am having quite a race with Lamer. So far we have both put in 80 in the Qualification the ammorences??? his ritention??? of keeping near me in the classification! So I've told him I'm going to be a Marksman!
The officers played NoH.??? in the afternoon. I was playing Left Half +had the Battalion Outside Right to mark! He can move! We lost 3-1. but it wasn't a bad game.
Sunday July 16
Orderly Dog to-day. Fox was "on" with me for Instruction. When those new chaps have been here 5 weeks +have done o.o. two or three time they are put on with someoneelse to be shown how to do it!
Monday July 17.
Range in the morning. We tried to fire the 500 as well as the 300 but couldn't owing to mist.
Played the R.A. Detaies??? in the afternoon. I was playing outside R.gW.??? It was a very good game + I think the team - as a team played the best game we have done yet despite the fact that we were without Mievile +Horloway.
