The Mess bill for last month was a joy instead of as I had expected "L2 to pay please" I found they were giving me L3! "Teek and litches" as they say out here.
We are firing on the Range this week. It is a weird place & at the different ranges one fires at different angles to the ranges. The noise is terrific as the report wanders round the rocks & the hills. Occasionally we have to stop firing because a cloud gets in the way! I'm not joking! We got hung up 3 times yesterday for about 20 mins each time!
