Many things have happened since I have been away.
1. Mess Subscriptions are now introduced. Shates??? what we fought for (one or two gus) in Feb. ytasty??? ea + couldn't get The C.O. has now decided that it is the only way to run a mess!!! This means that the subscriptions to the mess are in terms of day's pay so that it is graded.
2. Beach is going to the thelum??? Brigade as Bridgade Major + Jack is taking over his company.
3. Bart is now in the Mens Committee + practically P.U.C. when Beach goes, though Jack is so in name.
4. We are messing in white
5. The messing is no longer an arbitrary 2/12/- or so a day but is divided at the end of the month in actual cost.
6. We have been patched uit??? gthe??? Abbotabad Brigade into a new "Galis" Brigade Commanded by the same Brigadier as we had at Novshra - Col. huad. He is hombly energetic + saip??? we are going to the Gulf in the cold weather. I am afraid we don't get excited weret???.
He is very energetic + is going to Caumig??? over some time to examinien??? the "young officers" i.e subaltenes. As a consequence of this we have got Bayout Fighting + physical Drill classes every morning from 9-10 + a weekly paper on Text. Books. Such is life. The part I don't like is have to surot??? up Company Brid again!
