Wednesday June 28th continued

our driver was easily the most careful native driver that I have been behind. We travelled at about an average of 16 miles an hour the whole way, which is good going on a road like the Cashmre road.

We have a stop at Gahi?? at 11.0 for Tiffin?? and got moving again at 11/30. It was very hot from there through Kohala?? & we duly thankful that we had been able to get a car.

We reached Murree without event at 4.15 Just as we had finished Tea & were allying forth to do some shopping we were unexpectedly hailed by de Vesian?? He is over at Murree on a Transport Course and as he was a fortnight ahead of us at Kashmir?? we had a considerable amount to ??? at out. We extricated ourselves in time to get to the shops before they closed & went back to Dumer??? with him.

He says the draft is not such a bad lot. He didn't seem to know much about there journey up.

Thursday June 29th

Had breakfast at 6.15 & got moving at 7.0 We went on ponies to Borian?? (5 miles) and walked the remaining 9 1/2. We were not sorry to get drinks at the Changla Hotel ?? halfway. We got down to Khausper?? about 11.0 & found a
