My dear Mother & Father,
I shall not have any letter to answer this week I think as I see the mail boat got in at midnight on Monday so that our letters will be kept back at Khausper??? There should with luck be two letters waiting for us when we get there.
So far we have not shot our teeass??? We have still two days left so that there is hope yet. In the meantime we console ourselves with the reflection that if we don't kill any we save money as we shan't have to have the skins tanned!
The enclosed cutting may interest you. It is absolutely typical of the Indian Governments methods.
