There is an O.M.T. in this battn. A man called Foster. He was at school with me but was on the Modern so that we don't remember much of each other beyond the fact that we were contemporaries. I believe we were in the same form for Marks. in my first term at M.T.S. He is a Pte (in the band now)
You ask what we do with ourselves at Khauspur Father. I have been busy training my second section and now they have got as far as I can get them without having some ground approximately flat & bigger than a football ground to train in. They are more or less marking time and firing their Musketry Course! Now I have got to gain as much as I can of knowledge of Machine Guns and their work ???? ??? successive batches of 18 men (one batch from each Company) giving each batch 3 weeks! They'll have to work!
