Sangria as to our chances of getting a beer each. There is also a possibility of a Cheetah or a Leopard. I am not really expecting to get anything. Still it is worth trying.
We left Sangria about 12/30 reached Shadipur about 6/30. I went out in the Shekara (alone) for an hour and had a lovely time getting up Sunst ??? River. There is a very swift stream running and at times I could mae no headway at all. Coming back was rather different.
The Sunst is fed by the melting snows and in consequence is a grayish color and very cold.
Friday June 16th
Moved early from Shadipur this moring up the Sunst River to Gandenbal which we reached about 12/30 and tied up. We has a short time of exploration after tea. There are quite a number of houseboats here about 10 only.
Tomorrow we go inland for a weeks Shikar???.
Saturday June 17th
We set out on Shikar!
In honor of the event we rose early - i.e about 6/30 and after breakfast completed out packing and set forth into the earth for a week with one good and charters on 3 packs parties
