Tuesday June 13 We had a Kashmiri Breakfast this morning. There is a wood carver here by name "Ganemede" who I had a shop at Pindi last cold weather where Lamart??? and several others who had money to spend made his acquaintance. Yesterday we went to his shop here in Suenagas??? and he invited us to Breakfast today. I think he had about 15 courses ready for us but we got no further than eight. We had eggs fish meat dove??? in all kinds of ways and I only ^disliked^ thing that I disliked at all was the eggs, which were learhey???. After Breakfast we bought a few things from him and then went back to the boa. The afternoon we slacked. After tea we went for a stroll past the Residency & round. Wednesday June 4 Set out at 9.0. in the Skika Boat on a tour of Exploration of the Dal Lake.
